Hey everyone! I'm Abbygail (Abby) Rain Rowden and I am the owner of Rainy Day Photography.  I currently serve the Stillwater, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas areas.  I recently graduated with my B.S. in Business from Emporia State University and I work in Human Resources and Payroll at a mid-sized CPA firm in Topeka, KS. In addition to photography, my hobbies include spending time with my family, serving at church, and learning to play worship piano. 

Photography Background

My freshman year of high school, I took a digital photography class and fell in love with photography. My junior year, I took yearbook for the first time and served as the yearbook copy editor during my senior year. I bought myself a Canon T7 camera for my 18th birthday and have been taking photos for fun ever since. 

While attending Emporia State, I have gotten more into senior photography and have been taking clients off and on for about 4 years.  Event photography is another area of specialty and I have photographed several university events including ribbon cuttings, scholarship recognitions, and other ceremonies and events. I also love taking portraits and family photos. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is delivering an album that my client loves and feels beautiful. There's such a stigma around outward appearance and I absolutely love when my clients feel beautiful and their personality shines through the camera.
